Certick Bracelet
Certick developed a system that automates and improves pre-trip safety inspections using modern technology. The Certick Bracelet, along with NFC inspection tags, is used to facilitate the inspection process by ensuring that drivers are physically present at each inspection step. To pass each step, the driver must use the bracelet to scan the NFC tag attached to the part being inspected. The maximum range required for the bracelet to scan an NFC tag is 5 cm, which means no step in the pre-trip safety inspection will be missed.
