Certick Bracelet

Our proprietary NFC-scanning bracelet makes hands-free smart inspections possible. The Certick bracelet connects to the driver’s phone and automatically logs inspection progress. This allows drivers to focus on each step of the pre-trip safety inspection without unnecessary interactions with their smartphones and allows drivers to have both hands available to perform each step properly.

The bracelet guides the driver through each step of the inspection by showing where to go and what to inspect. This ensures that no step is missed. Each tag is scanned by the bracelet automatically when within 5 cm of the bracelet. The bracelet determines the best time to sync with the mobile application when it has an optimal connection to the smartphone via Bluetooth.

  • How close should the bracelet be to scan an NFC inspection tag?
Approximately 5–15 cm for about 2–3 seconds. This improves accountability by making sure that each scan is intentional. When the tag is successfully read, the bracelet will blink green and make a confirmation sound. This confirmation facilitates the identification of tags and speeds up the inspection process.
  • Is the bracelet waterproof and dustproof?
Yes, our bracelet is IP67 rated to withstand submersion up to 1 meter underwater and is fully protected against dust.
  • How long does the Certick bracelet’s battery last?
The Certick bracelet has a battery life of approximately 20 days. We recommend charging every 15 days to ensure continuous operation.
  • Is there a possibility that the bracelet will scan the wrong tag?
No, the bracelet needs to be close to the correct tag for 5 seconds to scan it and there will be a prompt on the bracelet to confirm that the inspection was complete.
